NIHAL
CONTESSA
Former show and brood
mare, the 11 year old Tessa arrived very fat early in 2002. Unbroken,
we soon saw to that and she completed her first 40km trainer some
six weeks later. It took a long time to change her round shape even
though she reached a good level of fitness fairly quickly. By November
she had achieved her Yellow log book with 3 out of 3 completions
and very good heart rates - see ride results 2002 . A very attractive
15.1 hh white grey, Tessa now looks very much an endurance horse.
She has an impressive ground covering trot and a never give up attitude.

than brown pure Arab mare, also known as "Black" with very good
endurance bloodlines, she is an easy ride with limitless stamina.
She has completed all her rides during 2002 in a mixture of divisions,
and achieved 640 kms without a vet out. Her heart rates are consistently
low and she always turns on a lovely strong final trot out.

GLENTANA
KHALA
Beautiful, athletic
bay mare with a very definite "Bask" look about her. She is sensational
to ride with more power and strength than you would imagine such
a fine horse to have. We bought her as an unbroken 4 y.o. broke
her in and attended a couple of training rides just before she turned
five and went to stud. She has delivered us two lovely purebred
geldings - see future stars - the last being by Centre Braveheart,
and very nearly kept entire. Before he was weaned last April, "Molly"
as she is nicknamed was already back in work and ready for her first
80 km at the Victorian State Championships in June. She completed
the difficult course in her stride and soon clocked up her next
two novice rides without any problems - see ride results 2002.
Molly has been sold to the U.A.E.
